1. Turn off the water heater switch on outside unit
  2. Empty all 3 holding tanks completely and close them
  3. Open hot and cold low point drains
  4. When the fresh water tank is completely empty, run the pump to pull any water out of the pump supply line -- Or -- disconnect the supply line at the water pump to drain it
  5. Open all faucets
    1. Kitchen Sink
    2. Bathroom Sink
    3. Indoor Shower
    4. Outdoor Shower
    5. Hold down toilet flusher
    6. Open water heater pressure relief valve
    7. Let drain
  6. Close hot and cold low point drains
  7. Close all faucets
  8. Open valve to antifreeze pickup line (under couch)
  9. Put clear hose (antifreeze pickup line) into RV antifreeze
  10. Turn on pump
  11. Open one faucet at a time until pink antifreeze flows, then close
    1. Kitchen Sink
    2. Bathroom Sink
    3. Toilet
    4. Indoor Shower
    5. Outdoor Shower
  12. Turn off water pump
  13. Depressurize the system by opening a faucet for a few seconds
  14. Open low point drains (should see antifreeze come out)
  15. Close low point drains
  16. Push in on check valve for city water
    1. If you see antifreeze, then you are done
    2. Otherwise, have someone run the pump for 2 seconds while you're holding the checkvalve
  17. Close valve to antifreeze pickup line (under couch)
  18. Open water heater pressure relief valve
  19. Pour some antifreeze into drains and black tank flush input
    1. Kitchen Sink (Both Sides)
    2. Bathroom Sink
    3. Toilet (flush down a little so all seals are covered)
    4. Indoor Shower
    5. Black Tank Flush Input (Did not do in 2025)
  20. Empty black and gray holding tanks
  21. YOU ARE DONE!
